Hello homies,
After a long break Classic is back with one of the most desired bookings of our journey.
On September 6th we have as guests two legends of the Electro Detroit undergound scene; Tommy Hamilton & Keith Tucker Aka AUX88 at Sala Upload Barcelona.
Detroit is considered the birthplace of Electro. Keith Tucker, also known as DJ K-1, is a living legend of this city, he is the main operator of Puzzlebox Records that he founded with Anthony 'Shake' Shakir and works actively in the AUX 88 duo with Tommy Hamilton.
The group was originally formed as "RX-7" in 1985. They also formed another project known as "Sight Beyond Sight".
We can say that they were among the inventors of this musical genre together with Juan Atkins (Cybotron), Dj Stingray, Drexciya, Dj Assault, Detroit In Effect etc. In the scene since 1993 with the release of their first release called "Bass Magnetic" in the same year.
The history of Detroit electro finally comes in town with the most unexpected sound. We look forward to seeing you all for the next episode ...
